How amazing is it that our body, given the right circumstances, has an innate ability to heal itself? The biological computer we call the human body is a powerful electromagnetic vehicle. The cardiovascular system, specifically the heart, keeps us alive through electricity. Our nervous system is the hard drive, sending signals every second to make sure we are able to perform basic survival functions like breathing, walking, digestion, etc.
Now, where does acupuncture come into play in the role of maintaining this computer?
Acupuncture is an ancient practice of medicine - which observes the body as a HOLISTIC system.
Acupuncturists stimulate electrical responses along channels in the body, a literal highway of electrical energy circulating from the brain to the bottom of the feet. If we are energetic beings, shouldn't modern medicine take this into consideration?
How many western practitioners actually take into account the concept of energy?
How many western practitioners ask their patients about emotion?
Emotion = Energy In Motion
If we look at basic words, the word disease literally means dis-ease of energy.
Like electricity, a strong and smooth connection guarantees a perfect result.
Modern humans are bombarded by many factors that disrupt the healthy flow, which may stagnate or break the connection.
Medications, GMOs, physical, mental, or emotional trauma all come into play when determining the state of one's health.
Many times, over the years, we have signs and symptoms such as migraines, acne, eczema, arthritis, fibromyalgia, digestive issues, infertility, etc which, if allowed to continue, are the precursors for more serious illness in our later years.
Acupuncture, as mentioned above, stimulates electrical responses, which in turn, send signals to our brain, then into our nervous system to regulate the dis-eased energy back into homeostasis (balance). Balance is key for a healthy mind, body and soul.
Stimulating these responses keeps our computer functioning by immediately reducing inflammation, releasing natural endorphins, and allowing full nerve conductivity.
Acupuncture is the past, present, and future of medicine!
Be sure to take care of your computer - the human body - a magnificent work of art.
